As Muslims, one of the greatest responsibilities we have is to spread the message of Islam and portray our religion in the most positive light through our actions. We are committed to reaching out to our neighbors and fellow community members and show the what our center is all about. Along with this, we want to help bring people back, especially the youth and young professionals, to the masjid and help them with their faith.

We are currently working on coming up with events like open houses and local volunteering to help get our name as Muslims out in the greater local community and to attract people to visit our center and learn more about Islam.

We are located in an area with many churches and other religious centers within a mile of us and are interested in working with those organizations to help their community learn and understand our community better.

We are focused on bring our youth and young professionals who have lost touch with the masjid and with their faith, back into the masjid with different events and programs.

Visit the Youth page for more info.

On March 10th from 12 PM to 2 PM the Bear Creek Islamic Center with ICNA & GainPeace will be hosting our first Open Mosque Day for our non-Muslim neighbors to have a chance to visit our center and learn more about Islam. This is a great dawah opportunity and we need your help!
1. Please share this flyer with any of your non-Muslims friends, neighbors, and co-workers to come to this event.
2. We need donors and sponsors to help fund this event. If you are interested in donating towards this event, please contact Br. Amaar Bangee at amaar.bangee@gmail.com

Unfortunately, we don't have the space to accommodate the entire community so we please ask our community members and regular musalleen to give the opportunity to our non-Muslim neighbors first and please not attend this event unless you are bringing a non-Muslim with you. We will have interfaith opportunities in the future that we will invite the community to attend so they can interact with non-Muslims as well.
